the beginning

In late 2019, Tyler was approached to buy a coffee booth at the Homer Farmer’s Market. From there, it was an easy choice to choose a brand name, and Fika was born! When the summer of 2020 rolled around and the market began, the world was in a new place - worried, reflective, and socially-distanced. Still, we encouraged our customers, family, and friends to stay connected and spread the good word of fika into our community.

That year we were focusing only on French Press, Pourovers, and Loose-Leaf Teas, getting our coffee from Ano Kissaten Roasters in Homer.
